The Chromebooks have already taken up a huge space in the laptop market and with the new Android Support, the Ultra-affordable laptops have become even more popular. Now, Samsung has also decided to make another addition to its Chromebook lineup with the launch of the new 2016 Samsung Chromebook Pro.

Although Samsung hasn't yet officially announced the launch of the Chromebook Pro, some pics and features for the 2016 convertible have been leaked. Adorama has been taking pre-orders already for the 2016 Chromebook Pro with an indicated price of $499.

The Samsung Chromebook Pro has quite a number of high-end features that we don't really expect in these affordable laptops. Here's what we know about the Chromebook so far:

Features/ Complete Specs:

Samsung Chromebook Pro weighs 2.3 pounds and features a full metal body. The device, 12.3-inch thick, measures 11″ x 8.7″ x 0.55″ and features a 2400x1600 touchscreen. The edge-to-edge glass screen has a 234 ppi, a 3:2 aspect ratio, and a 400 nits brightness level. Chromebook Pro also includes a 360-degree hinge design that allows the screen to be folded flat to be used as a tablet. The Chromebook supports 4GB RAM, 32GB eMMC storage, Bluetooth, 802.11ac WiFi, and also a webcam. The device also has an hexacore ARMv8 processor that's expected to be a Rockchip RK3399 processor, Engadget reports.

The Samsung Chromebook Pro is probably the first in the Chromebook Series to support a digital pen input. The 2016 Pro model will come with a digital pen and supported apps for taking notes, drawing or painting, capturing or annotating screenshots.

According to the leaks, the laptop can work up to 10 hours of a full battery charge. Although the battery is not user replaceable, the tech giant said earlier that its 'Battery Life Extender' feature should make the battery last 7 hours of usage for up to 3 years.

Android Support:

The Samsung Chromebook Pro should also be compatible with Android apps, like the other Chromebooks coming up when Play Store Support for Chrome OS rolls out for a wider range. The Chromebook pro has also been reported as one of the first in the lineup to ship with bloatware.

All the Samsung Chromebook Pro are to come with a free one-year AirDroid subscription, a browser-based app that allows the user to access files on your Chromebook from your computer. The estimated shipping date of the Chromebook Pro is October 24 with an indicated price of $499.
