Pokemon Go Buddy System: Is It Unfair To Players?

By using Buddy system player can unlock candies by walking a certain distance accompanied by only a single buddy Pokemon. Pokemon Players across seem to think that the Buddy system is unfair to the players. Before jumping to a conclusion, let us analyze the buddy system.

The distance a player would need to travel to earn a candy would vary depending on the accompanying Pokemon. Say a player is walking with Charmander or such other rare Pokemon, then the player will be required to travel 3 km for a single candy. One would need 125 candies to evolve Charmander into Charizard.

So, the buddy system is not a quick way as one would be required to walk several Kms to earn enough candies to evolve their Pokemon. For most of the uncommon Pokemon, the minimum distance required to walk for a candy is anywhere from 3-5 km.as reported by Gamespot.

Changes in the Pokemon Go Buddy System

Pokemon players believe that the Buddy System should be made little more favorable to the players. The Buddy system was introduced to help players gain more candies and give them an opportunity to evolve their Pokemon.

The most anticipated feature of the buddy system was to make Pikachu hop on the player's shoulder. A Player can walk for 10 km with Pikachu; as soon as 10 km are covered Pikachu will hope on your shoulder. So if this is what a player is looking for than the Buddy System is perfect for them.as reported by CNET.

The present Pokemon Go Buddy System is harsh on players. Players believe it should be more rewarding for them. Players can hope with the next update, Pokemon Buddy system will give something more to the players.
