'Kingdom Hearts 3' Release Date, Rumors, Update: Game Creator Teases More About The Next ‘Kingdom Hearts’ Installment? [VIDEO]

While, game developer Square Enix hasn't revealed an exact "Kingdom Hearts 3" release date, the gaming studio has teased that work on the highly anticipated gaming title is going on very well.

Game director Tetsuya Nomura made the announcement via the official "Kingdom Hearts" Twitter account, reported Gaming Bolt. Nomura noted that work on "Kingdom Hearts 3" is going steadily. He also assured gamers that the upcoming game will feature new, exciting worlds and will see Sora moving around in the wider space with his higher range of maneuverability.

In a recent interview with Dengeki PlayStation, Nomura gave some hints about what the next instalment of the "Kingdom Hearts" series might have in store. He said that two secrets are hidden in the "Kingdom Hearts 1.5," "Kingdom Hearts 2.5" and "Kingdom Hearts 2.8" illustrations. The creator hinted that fans would be able to draw out one of the secrets by looking at Sora's movement which changes from sitting, to standing, to walking.

Furthermore, on lining up the three illustrations, gamers will notice the flow of time depicted by changes in the sky. While, the "Kingdom Hearts 1.5" artwork features a sunset, the "Kingdom Hearts 2.5" artwork illustrates night time and "Kingdom Hearts 2.8" artwork eventually displays dawn. The game creator noted that the three illustrations have a hidden message about the final chapter, "Kingdom Hearts 3."

As far as "Kingdom Hearts 3" release date is concerned, the gaming title is expected to get rolled out sometime in 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Notably, 2017 is special for the Square Enix as it marks "Kingdom Hearts" franchise's 15th anniversary. The first installment of the popular gaming series was released way back in March 2002. Currently, the gaming studio is busy preparing for "Kingdom Hearts 2.8" Jan. 24, 2017 release.
