Have you ever wondered if the Apollo 11 moon landing was forged in 1969? Well, this movie, "Operation Avalanche" will let you experience and know how the 1969 Apollo 11 moon landing like when it is faked.

"Operation Avalanche" is a conspiracy thriller movie that was directed by Matt Johnson, who also starred in the film together with Owen Williams. They play the role of CIA agents, who break into NASA to expose a potential mole or to fish out a Russian spy. With their investigation, they find that NASA is incapable of reaching the 1969 deadline for the Apollo 11 Moon landing secretly. They end up the ones involved in a plot to fake the moon landing.

Johnson said in an interview about the film that it was a desire to tell a story about fakers, liars, and the compulsion to fool people and where that comes from. He further said that The Operation Avalanche is a movie about people making fake media and they thought that they could combine everything they really like into one big project, as noted by Slash Film.

The movie also features an enthusiastic guy who is never treated like an idiot and good at his job. Johnson then was asked what it feels like to create a character like that. He said that for them it's a reality. He added that they make the type of movies about how optimism can be dark and lead you to bad places. They like to make movies about the type of character succeeding. This is because it gives hope to other people who try to do the impossible.

"Operation Avalanche" will be in theaters on September 30 and the screening will be held on September 28. The trailer of the Operation Avalanche is below. Watch and see this truly thrilling movie!
