The comeback is real and Square Enix made sure that not a single fan of the game will be disappointed. As reported by Game Rant, the remake of the 2006 PlayStation game following the Zodiac Age storyline, set high expectations for Final Fantasy fans since its predecessor is not exactly as popular as the other versions of the game.

According to a report by Polygon, the game will offer a more challenging game experience as they made major changes in the game rules, combat, and exploration that even older fans of the game would still have to relearn in the game.

"One of the biggest challenges we faced in Final Fantasy 12 was to ditch the classic random encounter system that we had," Hiroaki Kato, the game producer explained. "In other games, you would go into battle suddenly, whereas in Final Fantasy 12 you saw enemies as you moved through the field. It's a real-time battle system. It was a big departure from the classic system."  he added according to the report.

In an official PlayStation blog post, it is confirmed that the game will be available for PS4 gamers in North America and Europe by 2017. They also said that major improvements from the international version could be expected which will mainly focus on the game interface and graphics.
