The latest gadget from Apple Inc was just released, but already, the initial quantities of the iPhone 7 Plus have already been sold out. Supplies of the phablet have already been exhausted in all shades. The phone - iPhone 7 - on the other hand, sold slower than its bigger model, but the jet black color is also no longer available.

Reuters noted that the gadgets, which only hit the shelves on Friday, can no longer purchase the phones from Apple Stores, but can still continue to place orders for their desired models as they wish, online. Apple spokeswoman Trudy Muller said in a statement that they appreciate their customers' patience, and that the company is currently working to get the new phones out for everyone who wants one as fast as they can.

Of course, for those who are only just ordering the phones will have to wait until the backlog clears. In the US and in the UK, the wait time is as long as two to three weeks, and those who are waiting for the Jet Black variant will have to wait up to five weeks as the model will have to go through a "nine-step anodization and polishing process."

The demand for the new phones seem to be strong, but in a break from their tradition, Engadget noted that the company will no longer report the volumes of the new phones that they sell over the first pre-order weekend, justifying that pre-order numbers are "no longer a representative metric" and that they knew the new models will sell out anyway. The decision was said to have sparked some concerns on Wall Street, as many feared that sales of the iPhone may finally be leveling off, but Jackson Research analyst Jan Dawson noted that the demand still seems to be very strong.
