Pokémon GO players are always on the hunt for rare Pokémon. Although this pocket monster has been known to be an elusive rare Pokémon, many trainers are reporting that when Ivysaur's 3D model in the app is loaded, parts of the game will freeze or quit working, leading game experts to say that this little creature should be avoided if seen in a gym or any nearby location.

According to a report, a group of Pokémon GO players have been talking on Reddit saying that they have discovered a bug connected to the rare Pokémon, Ivysaur. Users have reported that the Pokémon disappears from the map or the screen simply freezes, which players call the "White Screen of Death". The glitch can also be seen every time the 3D model of the Pokémon is inspected in the player's Pokédex or in the Pokémon storage.

Heavy.com reported that in some cases, players may not be able to see Pokémon in the wild at all, in different gyms, or even after hatching an egg once the Ivysaur bug starts to kick in. Pokémon GO players need to restart the game or their phones depending on the type of glitch. However, some players still say that even if they restart their phones or the app, sometimes it still doesn't solve the problem which leaves them no choice but to re-install the app again.

It was also reported in otakukart.com, the Ivysaur bug mostly affects Android users. Numerous reports have been circulating the web saying that pokemon GO players using HTC, Blackberry, Lenovo, Motorola, LG, Huawei, Samsung, Redmi, OnePlus, Sony Xperia, Vernee and ZTA phones are usually those that suffer from the Ivysaur glitch.

Meanwhile, some players have also been saying that it's not only the Ivysaur that's causing a glitch in the game. Several players have also been reporting to have similar problems with other Pokémon including Caterpie, Charmander and Horsea. Reports also said that after viewing Ivysaur and Grimer, these players to have problems seeing their Pokémon. However they added saying that the problem was not caused by the Grimer bug.

It is also important to note that in order to avoid the problem players may try clicking on a Pokémon a few meters away from the Pokédex and then swipe to Ivysaur. This Pokémon GO trick will work as a workaround for the Grimer bug. It is still unknown whether or not it will work with the Ivysaur bug, even though both bugs are similar.
