Telltale’s The Walking Dead Season Three Release Date: A New Frontier to Unveil in November

Video gaming giant Telltale Games has confirmed the release of the much-awaited game, The Walking Dead Season 3 this November. Kevin Bruner, co-founder and CEO of Telltale Games got the fans excited when he took the stage for the company's PAX West panel event in Seattle and provided them with never-before known details and fresh teaser trailer, reports Gamepew.com.

Bruner commented about the upcoming season, "The third new season will serve as both a continuation of what's come before in our story, as well as an all new beginning set nearly four years after the outbreak events of Season One." He added, "As a harrowing and horrific drama 'A New Frontier' will explore beyond what it means to survive in a world ravaged by the undead, and will see our characters confronting the new rules of order and justice in a land being brutally reclaimed and rediscovered by what's left of humanity itself."

The new season will focus on newcomer Javier, whose backstory revolves about a man who is struggling to keep his family intact to survive the chaotic aftermath of the apocalyptic zombie outbreak. A separate report by Venture Beat said that the upcoming season will also feature Clementine, the teenage girl with a dark past who is bent on protecting her own family.

The Walking Dead series executive producer Kevin Boyle said at PAX, "When we began this series we explored what it meant to protect Clementine at all costs. Years later, meeting her for the first time, Javier will begin to unravel the mystery of who Clementine has become, as her story intersects with his - both of them still driven by the things they value most long after society's collapse."

The new season of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier, will be released on consoles, PC/Mac, and mobile platforms. Fans of the game could also buy a special 'Season Pass Disc' for consoles, which includes the premiere episode for the upcoming new season. The Season Pass Disc also comes with access to all succeeding episodes in the five episode season they can be downloaded as they are released.
