Garmin Ltd, popularly known as Gramin has released its new line of outdoor watches the Fenix Chronos GPS sport watch. The watch is priced from $899.99 up to $1,499.99 and those who have already used it said it's the best sports watch they have ever tested.

Zdnet.com reported that although the prices of these watches are high, Gramin took the core of the amazing Fenix 3 HR and improved its body with new materials while making the sides thinner. Consumers also get new band options. While consumers have to pay hundreds just for a band on the Apple Watch, the Garmin Fenix Chronos may even have a better deal.

The Fenix Chronos is accessible in dual steel models and one made of titanium. There are also a variety of bands to choose from like selected leather, brushed immaculate steel, and brushed titanium. At first, techninja.com thinks it's ridiculous to pay about $1,000 to $1,500 for a watch with a band that would not be comfortable for tracking activities. But, the good thing about these bands is that they come with a silicone rope in a wooden box so that users can switch it out when they want to do intense activities.

A DC Rainmaker article said that all of the watches retain the higher end Fenix 3 HR waterproofing end level of 100m deep ( up to 328ft), and a battery life is the same as the Fenix 3 HR at 13 hours for GPS mode and 25 hours in UltraTrack mode. Other features that are unique to the Fenix Chronos are the unique watch faces not seen on other Fenix3 units, the red button on the upper right side of the unit, and the menu styling.

At the same time, according to digitalanswers.co.uk, similar as the Fenix 3 HR, the new Fenix Chronos has an integrated wrist-based heart rate monitor. The watch is also able to do Basic smartphone modifications which can supplement watch faces, widgets, and other functionality around a Connect IQ store.
