While, the name of the device remained unannounced, it is expected that smartphone in question is the highly anticipated "LG V20." Also, as far as the exact release date is concerned, LG is likely to launch the rumored "LG V20" smartphone as soon as possible to take on competitors Apple and Samsung. Apple is expected to roll out its next gen iPhone in September, while Samsung is set to unveil the Galaxy Note 7 next month.

As far as LG V20 specs are concerned, it is rumored that the upcoming handset will surpass its predecessor the LG V10 in terms of features. Released in September last year, the LG V10 is considered to be one of the company's best smartphones.
