All Ford vehicles in their 2017 lineup will be rolled out equipped with Ford vehicles 2017's Sync 3, which adds compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Ford vehicles 2017's Sync 3 will replace the MyFord Touch, an infotainment system that had a hard time laying out its dense complement of features in a sensible way. Ford vehicles 2017's Sync 3 will have a simpler approach, laying itself out in a method similar to Chrysler's Uconnect system.

Ford vehicles 2017's Sync 3 will allow iOS or Android smartphone's interface to automatically appear on the Ford vehicles 2017 display upon plugging them in. Ford vehicles 2017 drivers may be able to interact with the Siri voice control, Google Maps, Google Play Music and make calls, play music, send and receive messages and get directions, all of which can be done handsfree.

Ford vehicles 2017's Sync 3 system is faster than its predecessor and adds conversational voice recognition, a touch screen, and an easier to understand Ford vehicles 2017 graphic interface. Chuck Gray, Ford global director of electrical and electronic systems engineering, said that they have been able to quickly offer the technology across all Ford vehicles 2017 lineup, PC Mag reported.

The technology will extend to Ford vehicles 2017 and Lincoln vehicles, Road Show reported. Ford vehicles 2017 models such as Escape, Fusion, Mustang and Explorer are now available at dealerships stores while Ford vehicles 2017 such as F-150, Focus, Edge and the new Super Duty will arrive later this year. Ford vehicles 2016 models, on the other hand, will be able to upgrade soon.

Ford vehicles 2017 owners with Apple devices will have access to CarPlay which is only compatible with iPhone 5 and later. Ford vehicles 2017 who are on Android can use the  Android Auto, which requires devices running 5.0 Lollipop and higher. Ford unveiled Ford vehicles 2017's Sync 3 in June 2015.
