Macy's 4th  of July fireworks will use an extraordinary design technology integrated on smartphones to make an awesome New York City display. Macy's and Makelight app will collaborate to come up with the digital fireworks display.

Makelight CEO Joanna Aple told Fox News that the app is free and that it synchronizes phones by playing a unique lightshow that matches color, tempo and explosions of the fireworks. Whether viewers decide to watch the display live in New York City or at the comfort of their television at home, the app will bring continuous spectacular fireworks excitement.

The Makelight CEO Aple even said through an email that they love the thought that numerous people can feel as if they are holding the sparks of fireworks in the sky as they come together and contribute to the pixels spell bounding the astonishing creative display surrounding them. Makelight app has been known to be used by customers to enhance audience interaction during live music events.

For the 4th of July New York City spectacular, Makelight has created a built-in live event software that elicits triggers from Souza, a pyrotechnics specialist. It will run the countdown prior to the launching of the fireworks. Once the countdown is due to start, the Makelight software controller will become in sync with the phones.

Macy's 4th of July Fireworks spokesperson Orlando Veras, on the other hand, said via email that in collaboration with the Makelight app, they are adding additional entertainment for millions of spectators in New York City. Through the app, they will be giving everyone a chance to be part of the show.

Macy shared that this event will also mark the New York City's debut of pyrowriting, which is a forceful version of skywriting using fireworks to spell "U.S.A" in the night sky. The display is choreographed following a musical tone that will also include performances from the Broadway Star, Jennifer Holliday and the U.S. Air Force Band, CBS Local reported.

The 4th of July 2016 fireworks display will start around 9:25 p.m. EST. It has been presumed that this year will be the biggest event since 2000's millennial display. The pyrotechs are said to launch from five different firing locations; water launching from four barges of Midtown Manhattan and from a double-barge just below the Brooklyn Bridge.
