iPhone 7 Latest Rumors: Goodbye Space Gray, Hello Deep Blue?

A feature that Apple has had on their iPhone flagships is the color schematics they come in. To date, the default is the space gray color but if recent word is true, the iPhone 7 may not be coming out with a color variant of that kind.

Macotakara reveals an interesting rumor tied up to the iPhone 7 which is expected to come out this September. Already known to be coming with limited changes, the iPhone 7 will allegedly no longer offer the iconic space gray color theme but add a deep blue color variant instead.

To some, this may be an irrelevant feature though the case could be different from the people who hold a certain fashion persona when it comes to their preferred smartphone style.

For the folks who are aware of Apple product release, the closest one that carried a deep blue color variant was the iPod Touch. But since we are tackling on iPhones, this becomes a (major) change of sorts.

Being a rumor, this is something that remains to be seen. Seeing a deep blue iPhone 7 variant could come to fruition though aspiring iPhone 7 owners (no matter how whittled down the believed probability is) may want to get one for collectability purposes.

If the space gray is taken out, other colors will reportedly still be around. That includes the silver, gold, and rose gold variations.

Minor as the update may seem, the meat of the iPhone 7 is what (minimal) new features it will come with.

To date, the word out is that the iPhone 7 will be slimmer thanks to the iteration of the iconic 3.5 mm jack, minimal storage possibly starting at 32 GB instead of 16 GB and the addition of a dual-lens camera.

Other than that, nothing much has been mentioned that would be worth applauding with Apple saving off the major changes to the iPhone 8 next year. With that said, Apple is expecting not-so-good sales for now, something they are already aware off.

Despite that, the iPhone 7 is still believed to be a device that will get its share of buyers – mostly the individuals who want the latest Apple device and the ones who are collecting iPhones of different generations.
