Finally, iPhone 7 To Feature Practical Improvements

If you are one of the millions iPhone die-hard fanatics who could no longer wait until iPhone 7 is released, you may want to rejoice with the latest improvements the upcoming model will showcase.

Most features focusing on the soon-to-be-released iPhone model revolve around 3D Touch and Apple Pay. However, long-time users of the said Apple products are keener on seeing practical tweaking particularly on the aspects of storage and battery life.

IHS Technology Director of Market Research, Mr. Kevin Wang, reveals that these users may finally see an immense improvement in these two aspects.  The news released via Weibo may prompt iPhone users to rejoice early. According to Mr. Wang, the upcoming iPhone 7 / iPhone 7 Plus / iPhone 7Pro will come with an outstanding 32GB and 2GB as entry level storage. The information was made public after his company, IHS, conducted investigations on its supply chain.

Many tech experts believe that this could be the change that many iPhone users are hoping to see.  From iPhone to iPhone 6, the entry-level storage was only a minimal 16GB and this has been the case since 2012.  Many had also voiced out their concern that the 16GB iPhones were simply a business strategy that would only attempt users to pay an extra $100 to go for the unit with an expanded storage. In short, many believe that this would only be for an upsell purpose.

With the introduction of a bigger camera sensor, the addition of 4K video recording, and the inclusion of Live Photos, a bigger storage, and a lasting battery become a necessity. The expansion of storage will be a plus for many users who have gotten accustomed to the plethora of new features that Apple has been accustomed to doing in the past few years with its iPhone series.

For this year, CNET reported that Apple is not keen in surpassing its sales record the previous year.
