Not getting enough of "Star Wars," 37-year-old mother, Candace Payne, suddenly gone viral after posting to Facebook her video wearing a Chewbacca mask. A simple video of Payne laughing her heart out while wearing the mask got the internet by storm. Was it the force that has gone into her?

Candace Payne was just paying an innocent, ordinary day at Kohl's to return some items, when she decided to share with her friends through Facebook Live what she spontaneously got herself for her birthday. None other than, the Chewbacca mask.

Like an instructional video, she uttered that she has to take her glasses off before putting on the mask, what happens next was Payne, filling her car and sharing with her audience a massive, uncontrollable laughter.

According to CBS Los Angeles, the video that brought the "Chewbacca Mom" to her sudden fame already has around 137 million views and counting. Payne admitted she wasn't even a serious "Star Wars" fan, she was just at Kohl's looking for a pair of yoga pants and had the urge to buy the mask.

For Payne, the mask is but a simple joy for a stay-at-home mom like her. "Every now and then, you just need an adult conversation. Like, 'Please someone else out there in the universe or internet tell me I'm not the only one who finds this funny," Payne added in a report made by The Sun.

The "Chewbacca Mom" pertains to Chewbacca's intensely happy face in the mask that made her laugh so hard in the video. However, what made her even happier was not the fact that she's an internet superstar, but how she had made her kids proud and happy because of it.

This superstar's internet luck doesn't end there, because of fondness that their department store has given this mom her "simple joy," the management decided to give her an extra present. They gifted the "Chewbacca Mom's" children each a similar mask to complete their "Chewbacca Family." And not only that, they also gave her a set of store gift cards worth USD $2,500 (£1,700).

Payne flew to New York and Los Angeles for TV guestings at different shows like "The Late Late Show with James Corden," which aired last Monday on CBS2 where she received a note from the real Chewbacca, Peter Mayhem. Also, in the latest episode of "Carpool Karaoke," the "Chewbacca Mom" was about to drive host James Corden to work, when suddenly "Star Wars" director JJ Abrams appeared to teach Payne how to be a better Chewbacca. And the rest is history.
