MacBook Pro 2016 Update: June Release Gets Near; MacBook Air Towards Clear-Up Sales?

MacBook Pro 2016 are said to be launched anytime in June. The device will also bring huge MacBook Pro line-up improvements. 

Apple has started to clear up the MacBook Air stocks in preparation for the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016 models. Reportedly, the efforts have been evident from the 13-inch and 11-inch Air models' discounted prices on B&H Photo and Best Buy, MobiPicker reported.

The current 13" MacBook Air with model number MJVE2LL/A was introduced 2015 at a price of $999 plus tax. The unit features 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB storage, and 1.6 GHz CPU, according to data from. However, Apple fans can purchase this model at $869 ($130 discount) with free shipping and waived sales tax if delivered to an address outside New York. If taxes are factored in, shoppers outside of New York can save about $210 if compared to purchasing from Apple stores at full price.

The 11" MacBook Air, current generation, is also on sale. The model MJVM2LL/A has specifications of 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, and 1.6 GHz CPU which is discounted at $749 (from $899) with free shipping and waived sale tax if delivered to an address outside New York. That's roughly $220 difference when compared to the full price of the model in Apple stores.

A 21" iMac with HD display can be grabbed at an affordable price this week. The late 2013 model, ME086LL/A, is being sold for $949, $350 off its original price of $1,299 not including tax. Again, the price includes free shipping and the sale tax is waived is delivery address is outside of New York. The sale price is lower than a refurbished iMac, same model as above, that Apple is currently selling for $1,059 plus tax.

MacBook Air and iMac both have additional configurations available on sale, International Business Times reported. Check with B&H for the list of offered discounted configurations.
