Geek Gadgets: Cool Technology to Keep Warm This Winter (VIDEO)

To say it's cold in the U.S. would be the understatement of the year. Fortunately, there are a few devices to help you out. For this week's Geek Gadgets, we've listed some of the top devices to keep you warm and cozy even when winter is in full swing.

1. Battery Powered Jacket. Forget the hand warmers. What you need is something more high-powered-or battery powered. This battery powered jacket from ActiVheat will keep you warm all winter long. Taking six AA batteries, it incorporates heating components into the jacket itself, and a button on the front allows you to adjust exactly how warm you want it to be.

2. Duraflame Large Stove Heater. Want to keep warm while still keeping it classy? This heater may be the solution. The heater itself looks like a stove, complete with glowing embers and crackling "flames" on an electric screen. With electronic controls and a remote, you can't go wrong when heating your office or room.

3. GPS Ski Goggles. While these ski goggles are discontinued for the foreseeable future (possibly because they were too distracting), we couldn't help but include them in our list. 5. Bluetooth Ear Warmers. Now you can keep your ears warm and listen to your music. These ear warmers have Bluetooth wireless technology that allow you to take calls and listen to music from other Bluetooth-enabled devices.
