A report released by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced a chicken tender recall issued for Prime Pak Foods due to "misbranding and undeclared allergens" found in some of the company's breaded and cooked chicken breast products.

The Gainesville, Ga., company is recalling around 24,000 pounds of the products due to unlabeled egg and wheat found in the foods.

The following products were subject to recall, according to CBS Local: "2, 5-lb. bags in a 10-lb. box of 'Sugar Lake Farms Fully Cooked Breaded Chicken Breast Tenders' with the product code 77422 printed on the box.

"2, 5-lb. bags in a 10-lb. box of 'Sugar Lake Farms Fully Cooked Spicy Breaded Chicken Breast Chunks' with the product code 77448 printed on the box."

The problem was initially discovered by a Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) inspector  on April 17, 2014 when not all of the ingredients were properly listed on packaging labels of the products.

Though no reports regarding adverse reactions have been received, those with egg or wheat allergies could be significantly affected.

For those with egg allergies, coming into contact with this food may cause hives, nasal inflammation, gastrointestinal issues, asthma, rapid pulse, fatigue, dizziness or even constriction of airways.

For those suffering from wheat allergies or celiac disease, many of the same symptoms apply, along with the added possibility of difficulties swallowing and/or breathing.
