It's been a long five years for United States Health Secretary Kathleen Sebelius. During her time working for the Obama Administration, she was an instrumental figure for enacting Obamacare among other health and medical related achievements.

Ms. Sebelius was sworn in as the 21st Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services on April 28, 2009. The former Kansas governor and Kansas state insurance commissioner, Sebelius was also the leader of the United States' emergency health responses to crises and natural disasters across the world.

Her goals as Health Secretary also focused on young children, the elderly, and those with disabilities. She was a big supporter of Head Start, which is a "federal program that promotes the school readiness of children ages birth to five from low-income families by enhancing their cognitive, social, and emotional development," the program's website states.

Unfortunately, Sebelius was most known for the Healthcare.gov website debacle for Obamacare, taking the fall for the website's many failures. Nonetheless, she and other health officials were proud to see that 7.5 million uninsured Americans signed up as of yesterday. President Obama admired her loyalty to the Affordable Healthcare Act.

"From her work on Head Start, to expanding mental health coverage, to advancing cutting-edge health care research and, of course, her unwavering leadership in implementing the Affordable Care Act, Secretary Sebelius often calls her work here the most meaningful of her life," an HHS official said in a statement via this ABC News article.

Sylvia Mathews Burwell is the director of the Office of Management and Budget and will replace Ms. Sebelius at 11 a.m. today when President Obama officially announces her nomination. Ms. Sebelius will be at the televised nomination while she is acknowledged for her hard work and determination as her position of great responsibility is filled.
